Easter is a special time where we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior. It’s the perfect time to celebrate with your family, especially if you have a little one. As a new parent, you might be wondering how to make your baby’s first Easter extra special. So here are some favorites of our family, and some great Easter basket ideas for your baby!

Babies First Easter Basket Ideas

Mirror Puzzle  | Bunny | Swing | Puppets | Chicken Eggs | Holy Week Book  | Lamb | Skwish Rattle | Dimpl Toy | Busy Toy | Toy Phone | Peter Rabbit Book  | Sophie | Paint Palette | Play Silks

A few other ideas are bunny ears and a hopping chick or hopping bunny, these things you can get at your local Dollar Tree or Target dollar section. I also have found fun things like wood eggs (similar to the Montessori egg and cup toy) and a toy plastic golf set. While you can find these things on Amazon, it will be much more cost effective to go the Dollar Store route.

If you want to know why I picked some of these things, keep reading below.

Play Silks – I actually just got these for my daughters first birthday and I was so impressed with both the quality and the possibilities for imaginative play. In the baby stage you can use them for peek-a-boo and as your baby grows for dress up, forts and much more!

Swing We have owned this swing for several years now and I LOVE how it has the ability to grow with your baby and toddler. My oldest right now loves the “older kid” swing setting and is learning how to pump her legs and my baby could be pushed in the “baby swing” setting for hours.

Skwish Rattle  – This is one of my personal favorite baby toys. See my video on the best toys for babies 0-6 months.

Puppets – Babies love puppets! It’s a great way for you to interact with your baby of any age, and like a lot of other things on this list they will grow with you baby/toddler.

I hope these Easter Basket ideas for babies have been helpful. See my other post on Christian Easter Basket Ideas or my Recommended Easter Books!
