I am so excited to provide you my honest thoughts in this Zoe Twin V2 review. The Zoe Twin V2 was the first side-by-side double stroller I purchased, and let me tell you right off the bat, it was a great investment.
I had a newborn baby and a two year old who still loved riding in the stroller, and the only option I had was a stacked or inline double stroller. I don’t know if you’ve had the same experience, but maneuvering a stacked double stroller can be a bit of a struggle. The uneven weight distribution and the length made pushing a challenge, so I decided to purchase the all new Zoe Twin.
In this post, I’ll explain why this lightweight stroller was an ideal choice for my family and why, under the right circumstances, it can be a great choice for your family too.

For that price, you get a nice side-by-side stroller with two bumper bars, a parent cup holder, two kid cup holders, and a snack cup. Many side-by-side tandem strollers are hitting the market, but most that are worth considering are several hundred dollars more than the Zoe Twin stroller. Zoe strollers have a nice blend of quality and price.

Zoe Twin V2 From Top to Bottom
Let’s walk through the Zoe Twin V2 from top to bottom, covering the most important features that I love and some that could be improved.
The Handlebar
The handlebar is made with comfortable and durable leatherette detailing. It is adjustable (rotating) and a decent option for tall parents. My husband at 6’0″ has not had any issues with kicking the brake.
The parent cup holder that comes with the stroller holds my Stanley, and pretty much any cup, but one small annoyance… It does not fit through a standard doorway with the cup holder attached. The parent organizer is really nice, but it is often sold out, so if you are planning to purchase this stroller and it’s in stock, BUY IT!
The Canopy
The canopies are what Stroller Mom dreams are made of! Zoe put a lot of thought into the canopies of this stroller, and it shows. The magnetic peek a boo windows are amazing. You can open them without waking up your sleeping child, and they have a mechanism to keep them open.
The canopies operate independently and have amazing coverage, especially when using the zippered extension, making sleeping on the go so much easier. This is also why this is one of the best Disney approved double strollers on the market.
The Seat and Buckles
Another great feature of this stroller is the seat. The seatback is tall, allowing plenty of room for your child to grow into. For toddlers who dislike being reclined (which, let’s face it, is most of them), the Zoe Twin V2 offers a very good upright position.
While the stroller doesn’t have a no-rethread harness, it’s not a huge issue for a double stroller. No-rethread harnesses are more important for single strollers where you’re frequently switching between children. With a double stroller like this, you usually set each seat for a specific child and leave it. For instance, I have one seat set for my two-year-old, one for my four-year-old, and I use the car seat adaptor for my infant, so I don’t need to constantly adjust the buckles.
Speaking of the buckles, I absolutely love them. While they’re not magnetic, they’re very intuitive and easy to use, which makes getting your kids in and out of the stroller hassle-free. The seat recline is also impressive. Zoe advertises that you can start using the stroller with your baby from three months old, and the deep recline makes it easy for them to nap on the go.
The Bumper Bars
The bumper bar is included with your purchase and is incredibly easy to use. Each one opens individually on either side, making it much simpler to place your child in the stroller. While they operate independently, they are connected, so it’s either use both, or use neither.
The Footrests
The footrests are built-in and independently adjustable with one hand! There’s also an included lower footrest for taller toddlers, which helps extend the life of the stroller.
The Brake
The Zoe Twin does have a one-foot brake, but it is not the most flip-flop-friendly brake I have ever used. It’s easy to push down, but pulling it up takes some force.
The Basket and Storage
The storage options on the Zoe Twin V2 are super convenient. There are pockets on the back of each canopy that are perfect for stashing small essentials like your keys, phone, or even an unopened sparkling water. It’s a great spot to keep things you need quick access to without having to dig into the larger storage basket.
Speaking of the basket, the size is fantastic. I’ve been really happy with how easy it is to get my large diaper bag in and out. It holds a lot in terms of space. However, the capacity can be a bit deceptive. Although it’s spacious, the weight limit is technically only 10 pounds, which fills up fast given its size. Keep that in mind if you tend to carry heavier items.
I also highly recommend getting the Zoe stroller organizer because it makes life easier as a parent. They were sold out when I first bought my stroller and I had to wait several months to get it. I do have a few universal ones linked here, but for the Zoe… I think it is worth getting this one.
Zoe Twin V2 Infant and Car Seat Compatibility
The main reason I got the Zoe Twin V2 is its compatibility with a car seat. You have to purchase compatible car seat adaptors. Zoe currently has two options: the Nuna, Maxi Cosi, Cybex, Britax, and the Graco & Chicco, both of which cost $40.
Upon removing the bumper bars (which, again, is super easy to do), you can put the car seat adaptor over one of the seats. Something to note if you are a twin parent with infants: you can add only one car seat, so you may want to look at another option, like the Valco Duo Trend.
The car seat adapters are intuitive, and the car seat easily slides in and out, especially after reclining the seat slightly.
You cannot use the bumper bar with the car seat adapters since it is one long bar, but you can use the included child cup holder or snack holder instead! This is very unique to the Zoe Twin!
Zoe Twin V2 Folding, Unfolding, and Ease of Use
The Zoe Twin V2 folds down quickly and easily, but it does require two hands. Simply apply the brake, recline the seats (a little inconvenient), and grab the straps in each seat to fold the stroller in seconds. There’s a lever on one of the sides that locks the stroller in place.
Ok, confession, one of my BIGGEST frustrations with this stroller… It doesn’t stand when folded. It’s not a deal breaker, but this review would not be honest if I didn’t bring it up. I do love that this stroller only weights 23 lbs!
To open it, you open the latch on the side and pull open the stroller.
Maneuverability & Performance of the Zoe Twin V2
Zoe upgraded the wheels for the V2 version, and overall, they work pretty well for everyday use. However, right off the bat, it’s important to note that these wheels are not designed for all-terrain use. If you’re planning to regularly take the stroller over uneven terrain or rough terrain, it may not be the easiest push. I also found it was a little difficult to get going when I pushed it with my two toddlers, but once I was going it was fine.
I do recommend getting Zoe’s all-terrain wheels (larger wheels better suited for uneven surfaces) after testing them for several months. They do make a difference! If you are someone who goes on gravel roads often you should look at a jogging stroller or the Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 (review linked) which are better designed for more rugged environments.
That said, it’s a great everyday stroller for typical outings—like trips to the mall, visits to the pediatrician, or even flying with it on an airplane—this stroller is ideal. It’s perfect for a trunk-to-store lifestyle, and it’s also a great option for trips to places like Disney. While I sometimes have to give it a little push to get it moving, once it’s in motion, the stroller handles well.

Zoe Twin V1 Vs Zoe Twin V2: What’s new?
You may be considering getting the Zoe Twin V1 for the cost savings and are wondering if the upgrades are worth it. In most cases, I do think the upgrades to the Twin V2 are worth the extra cost! The ability to add car seat adapters is a big benefit for the V2. Other updates include: upgrade wheels (big upgrade), an adjustable handlebar, and the bumper bar and snack tray have now been updated to open independently for each seat.

Is the Zoe Twin V2 the Right Stroller for Your Family?
The Zoe double stroller is perfect for parents with twins past the newborn stage or two young children close in age.
