When it comes to choosing the right travel stroller is about more than just aesthetics — it’s about performance, convenience, and how well it fits into everyday life with little ones. In this honest review, I’m sharing my experience with the Cybex Orfeo, a compact stroller that promises style, function, and portability — all at a surprisingly great price point. I recently took the Orfeo on a family trip to Mexico becuase of its small size. From beach, gravel, cobblestone streets, and everything in between. Plus, it comes with car seat adapters included, which is a rare and welcome bonus in this category. Here’s how it held up, what stood out, and whether it’s the right fit for your next adventure.

Price
The Cybex Orfeo is currently priced at $249, and similar to other Cybex strollers it includes car seat adapters and a rain cover in the price. The Car Seat Adapters are advertised to only work with Cybex Car Seats, but it uses the same adapters as other popular brands like Nuna, Cybex, Clek, and Maxi Cosi infant seats. Mine included a soft bumper bar, as you will see in the video review above, but since they lowered the price of the Orfeo, it seems the soft bumper bar was removed (in my opinion, this is okay because you couldn’t fold the stroller with the bumper bar attached).
Pros
- Lightweight at only 13.9 lbs
- Fits in the overhead bin and come with a built in carry strap
- Car Seat Adapters & Rain Cover included
- Smooth push for a travel Stroller
- Great quality with upgrades like no-rethread
Cons
- No extension on the Canopy
- Small basket only holding 11 lbs
Infant Compatibility
The Cybex Orfeo does not have a newborn-ready recline or bassinet option, but can be used with a baby from birth with the use of an Infant Car Seat. The included adapters work with Nuna, Cybex, Clek and Maxi-Cosi infant car seats.
