Best Budget Travel Strollers with an Auto Fold

You have probably seen the $475 Nuna TRVL and its viral fold all over the internet, but did you know you can get that same really cool fold on other more affordable strollers? New travel strollers are coming out everyday with this feature, but here are 4 of my favorite budget friendly travel strollers with a cool auto fold on the market now.

1. The Viral $99 Summer Infant 3D Quickclose CS+

Summer Infant 3D Quickclose Stroller

The Summer by Ingenuity 3Dquickclose CS+ stroller has gone viral on the internet for its amazing fold at only a $99 price point! I really didn’t think I was going to like this stroller as much as I have, but for the price it gives you a lot of great features. Are the materials the nicest? No. Is the seat a little reclined in the most upright position? Yes. But for $99 it is going to get the job done and you won’t be as devastated if the airlines break your stroller.

Here is what you need to know:

Price: $99 (Order on Amazon, Target, or Walmart)
Stroller Weight: 17 lbs
Age: 6 Months to 50 lbs (unless using a car seat)
Car Seat Compatibility: Universal Car Seat Strap included

👍 Pros:

  • Super easy and fast to fold
  • Good value for the price (cup holder, universal car seat adapter, and phone holder included)
  • Compact

👎 Cons:

  • No full recline for newborns
  • Materials have a plastic feel to them
  • Not the most upright seat and no canopy extension
  • Only fits in some overhead bins

2. Graco Ready2Jet

Graco Ready 2 Jet

The Graco Ready2Jet caught my eye at a kids expo because of its easy fold and seamless compatibility with Graco Infant Car Seats by attaching to the included bumper bar. This makes travel and quick errands a dream. I also like the tall seat back and that the materials feel a little more premium compared to the 3D Quickclose above.

Here is what you need to know:

Price: $160 (Order on Amazon, Target, or Walmart)
Stroller Weight: 13.2
Age: 6 Months to 50 lbs (unless using a car seat)
Car Seat Compatibility: Built in Bumper Bar attachment with Graco Infant Car Seats!

👍 Pros:

  • Super easy and fast to fold
  • Lightweight
  • Tall seat back
  • Easy car seat compatibility with Graco

👎 Cons:

  • No full recline for newborns
  • Not the most upright seat and no canopy extension
  • Only fits in some overhead bins

3. Bombi BeBee V2

Bombi V2

The Bombi BeBee V2 is one of the best budget travel strollers out there. It has an amazing fold, great storage basket, upright seat, nice feeling materials and great canopy extension. Not to mention this stroller can handle occasional gravel and cobblestone. It is a little heavy and doesn’t have my favorite style of car seat adapter (it uses a strap like the 3D QuickClose), but is a great option!

Here is what you need to know:

Price: $205 with code STROLLERMOM20
Stroller Weight: 18 lbs
Age: 6 Months to 50 lbs (unless using a car seat)
Car Seat Compatibility: Nuna, Maxi Cosi, Uppababy, etc.

👍 Pros:

  • Super easy fold
  • Great value for the price
  • Good canopy and upright seat
  • Has great accessory options and works with a lot of different car seat brands

👎 Cons:

  • No full recline for newborns
  • Average seat back height
  • Canopy sticks a little when using the full extension

4. MomCozy ClickGo Stroller

Momcozy Clickgo Stroller

The Momcozy ClickGo is a nice quality stroller that comes with a lot of accessories and upgraded features while still at an affordable price point. If you do not need car seat compatibility, this is a great option, especially since it has a near flat recline with a nest mode.

Here is what you need to know:

Price: $224 with code EMSTROLLER
Stroller Weight: 17 lbs (though they advertise 13.2…)
Age: Birth to 50 lbs
Car Seat Compatibility: None

👍 Pros:

  • Super easy fold
  • Good value for the price (cup holder, snack tray, bumper bar, rain cover and dust bag)
  • Newborn ready recline
  • Tall seat back and good canopy extension

👎 Cons:

  • No car seat compatibility
  • Confusing information online

Final Thoughts

Depending on what you are looking for, all four of these strollers could be a great option! A good fold is a nice feature to have on a stroller, especially if you are holding a kid in one arm and wrangling another. However fold is not always everything!
