UPPAbaby Vista V3
The UPPAbaby Vista has been a parent favorite for a few years now! It features an impressive basket that holds 30 lbs, a great push, an adjustable handlebar, and many accessories you can purchase.
That said, this stroller is big, very expensive, and is not perfect as a double or for twin parents. It also no longer comes with a bassinet, which means parents will need to purchase an additional accessory (infant insert or bassinet) to be able to use this stroller from birth.
I love the rider board setup for families with bigger age gaps, but I generally recommend the UPPAbaby Cruz V3 (review below) over the Vista for this! I compare the Vista V3 above to the Mockingbird 2.0 single-to-double. This video was not sponsored by either company, and I tried very hard to objectively compare the two.
Who is the Vista V3 best for?
The Vista is best suited for families who want a luxury single-to-double stroller that can serve as their one and only stroller. Before purchasing, I recommend that parents consider the stroller’s limitations, as it is not a perfect double stroller and comes with a very expensive price tag. It is also not a perfect twin stroller, either.
While you can use it with two bassinets and two car seats, the second rumble seat is smaller and holds less weight, meaning one child will likely outgrow the stroller sooner. With two kids close in age, the bassinet can only be placed on the bottom, but the rider board setup is very nice.
Vista V3 Quick Stats
UPPAbaby Vista V3 | |
---|---|
Price | $999.99 (Single Mode) & $1,299.98 (Double Mode) |
Includes | Stroller, seasonal seat liner, toddler seat bug shield, toddler seat rain shield, toddler seat storage bag, 3-year warranty |
Weight | 27.6 lbs (Frame 19.8 lbs, Seat 7.8 lbs) |
Recommended Age | From 3 months (from birth with Infant SnugSeat or Bassinet V3; also car seat compatible) |
Car Seat Compatibility | Uppababy Infant Car Seats (no adapter); Nuna/Cybex/Maxi Cosi with adapter; Chicco/Peg Pergo with adapter |
GreenGuard Gold Certified | Yes |
Seat Limit | 50 lbs (40 lbs in RumbleSeat) |
Vista V3 Pros:
- Amazing push
- Magnetic buckles with a no-rethread harness
- All-weather seat liner (mesh for summer/cover for winter)
- The modular seat can be forward-facing or parent-facing and has an adjustment in the canopy as your child grows!
- One-step, self-standing fold
- Large basket with a 30 lb weight capacity
- Bassinet available (purchase separately), can even do two bassinets for twins
- Transports up to 3 children with RumbleSeat and PiggyBack accessories (purchase separately)
- Adjustable handlebar
- Great accessory options
Vista V3 Cons:
- Very expensive (especially with accessories)
- When using a toddler seat and bassinet, the bassinet has to be in the lower position
- Basket has a bar running through it (though I have come to like that it helps keep my basket more organized)
- Requires two hands to fold
- Somewhat bulky when folded
- The second seat (purchased separately) is smaller than the original
- Not a perfect push when used as a double
UPPAbaby Cruz V3
The Cruz has always been one of my husband’s and my favorite first-time parent strollers. Now with the Cruz V3 having infant compatibility right out of the box, I like it even more, but sadly, it does come at a more expensive price tag.
This stroller gives new parents everything they want: a reversible seat, a large basket, newborn recline, a great canopy, a good push on almost any terrain, and a travel system capable of using many different infant car seat brands, including the Chicco Keyfit series and Nuna Pipa series (two of my favorite infant car seat brands).
The biggest downside is the price, and that you may also want a compact travel stroller for quick trips and air travel (check out my travel stroller guide)
Who is the Cruz V3 best for?
For parents wanting a high-quality, luxury modular stroller with a large storage basket, an impressive canopy, and newborn compatibility. I almost always recommend this stroller over the Vista because it’s a little smaller (but sadly only one pound lighter, but the frame itself is lighter) and comes with infant compatibility right out of the box at a lower price tag.
Now, if you still want kids close in age (like we did – our first two were 19 months apart), I would recommend either selling the Cruz V3 (or just keeping it) and at that time investing in a true double stroller.

- A little large – This is not a lightweight stroller, but the trade-off is you get a really good push and amazing basket!
UPPAbaby Ridge
The Ridge is an amazing all-terrain and jogging stroller. In fact, it even made my list of the “Best Jogging Strollers.” It is bassinet-capable, which is rare for a jogging stroller. Because the Vista used to include a bassinet, it is easy to find one second-hand (the V2 Bassinet will also work)!
It has great all-terrain capabilities, an easy one-handed fold, a closed storage basket and water bottle holder, and an easy front locking wheel. My only complaint is that I wish it had adjustable calf support for the baby stage.
Who is the Ridge best for?
Families who run and like to exercise with their stroller, or who live on dirt or rougher roads and need all-terrain capabilities. This is a great option for use from birth when paired with a UPPAbaby Bassinet or infant car seat (You just can not jog with it until your baby is older) and is an incredible quality stroller. I also love their parent organizer for this stroller!

Ridge Cons:

- Calf rest is not adjustable
- The basket is a little bit small (compared to other UPPA baskets) because of the stroller shape
UPPAbaby Minu V3
The UPPAbaby Minu V3 took the US market by storm by being one of the first luxury brands to offer a newborn recline on an IATA-compatible travel stroller. It’s easy to fold, lightweight, and is a quality travel stroller with a large storage basket and tall seat back. The biggest downside is that the seat is not the most upright, but other than that, it checks almost every other box.
Who is the Minu V3 best for?
Families who want a travel stroller that can be used from birth and fits in the overhead bin of an airplane. This high-quality stroller has a newborn-ready recline and is compatible with several infant car seat brands. It can also easily fit a large diaper bag in the basket.

- No-rethread harness
- Large basket with 20lb weight capacity
- Car seat compatible (with adapters)
- Large, extendable canopy with peekaboo window
- Tall seatback at 21 inches
Minu V3 Cons:
- Seat back is slightly reclined at its most upright position
- Some parents note clicking when pushing on rougher terrain
- Not bassinet compatible
UPPAbaby G-Luxe
The G-Luxe is a luxury umbrella stroller featuring an adjustable calf support, an easy-to-use buckle, a seat that reclines for use starting around 3 months, a decent canopy, and an easy-to-use brake. The fold takes a bit of learning and you cannot access the basket when the seat is reclined, and there is no peak-a-boo window.
Who is the G-Luxe best for?
Families who want an affordable, lightweight travel stroller with a compact umbrella-style fold with a luxury feel. Parents love the quality and how feature-rich the G-Luxe is at such an affordable price point. There is a slight recline that could work starting at 3 months. This stroller is not car seat compatible

G-Luxe Cons:
- No peekaboo window
- No snack tray available
- Poor basket access
- Awkward shape when folded
- No car seat compatibility
- Difficult to push on grass and uneven terrain
UPPAbaby Minu Duo
The Minu Duo is one of the narrowest side-by-side travel strollers, ensuring it can fit through just about any doorway, with tall upright seats, newborn reclines, and an amazing basket. It sadly only works with UPPAbaby infant car seats and the stroller does not fold with the car seat adapters attached, but this stroller offers a nice push and luxury materials in a compact double stroller.
Who is the Minu Duo best for?
Families who want a double lightweight travel stroller that can be used from birth and has tall seatbacks. It is very narrow, which makes it easy to maneuver and will fit through most doorways, but this can be a downside for kids needing a little more space in the seat. The newborn recline is great and even deeper than the Minu V3, and the seatbacks are also more upright if you pull them very tight.

UPPAbaby G-Link V2
The G-Link V2 is the only luxury side-by-side umbrella double stroller on the market. It offers more premium materials with decent canopies and a compact umbrella-style fold. This stroller has been around for a bit, and I have a full review and also compare it to the Zoe Twin V2 on YouTube.

Families who want a compact umbrella-style travel double stroller.
