Want a Nuna Stroller but feeling overwhelmed by all the options? Even as a stroller and baby gear expert, I still feel this way about some brands, so in this post, I hope to simplify your Nuna buying process by breaking down each of the strollers in the full Nuna lineup. I will also share my experience with each one as a mom of 3 little ones to hopefully help you decide.
Table of Contents
What do all Nuna Strollers have in common?
- ALL Nuna Strollers are compatible only with PIPA Series Infant Car Seats
- Car Seat Adapters are included with all Nuna Strollers
- Adjustable footrest
- 50 lb Weight limit in each seat
- All stand when folded
- No re-thread harnesses
- MagneTech buckles
- UPF 50+ Water-Replant Canopy
Something that might surprise you is that not all Nuna Strollers are GreenGuard Gold Certified. I did not learn this until recently, and will break down below which strollers in the Nuna line up have this certification.
Full Nuna Stroller Line Up
Here is a chart from Nuna with all of their strollers broken out!

Nuna TRVL
This is Nuna’s Travel stroller, and while it does not fit in many overhead bins, it is nice, compact, and lightweight. The Nuna TRVL has received a lot of attention for its really cool auto fold and seamless compatibility with the PIPA Car Seat on the bumper bar.
I used this stroller as my everyday car stroller with my second baby and loved how easy it was to take in and out of my car and use with my car seat. I also traveled with this stroller several times, and it did really well. I had to gate check it and used the included travel bag (which is really more of a dust bag), but after hearing some horror stories, I would probably invest in Nuna’s travel bag if I were going to fly regularly again with it, because you get an added warranty.
Who the Nuna TRVL is Best For
This is best for families who want a compact, lightweight travel stroller with a really easy fold and are okay with gate checking when flying. You get your money’s worth when you pair it with a Nuna Pipa car seat right onto the bumper bar. Sadly, the seat back is on the shorter side and has a mesh panel on the top, so it’s not great for naps after 18 months, depending on how tall your baby is.
Buy the Nuna TRVL here on Nuna, Nordstrom, or Pottery Barn.

Nuna TRVL LX
Nuna noticed how parents were using the Nuna TRVL as a lightweight everyday stroller and made a better one with the Nuna TRVL LX. With upgrades like a newborn-ready recline, an easier-to-adjust recline, an extendable canopy, and a better push, this stroller is great for parents who want a lightweight, easy-to-fold stroller for everyday use.
Who the Nuna TRVL LX is Best For
Great for families who want a lightweight travel stroller for everyday use. The larger wheels, extendable canopy, newborn recline, ease of compatibility on the bumper bar with the PIPA car seats, and easy auto fold make parents’ lives easier. It is ideal for families who buy this from birth because of the shorter seat back that is not as ideal for the toddler years, depending on whether your child naps in the stroller (mine don’t, but every family is different).

Nuna TRIV Next
The Nuna TRIV Next is a lightweight Stroller that offers everything parents love about full-size strollers but with less weight and a more compact fold. Weighing only 21 lbs with the seat and less with the car seat ring adapter, the Nuna TRIV Next can fold with the seat in either direction. It also has a good push and is easy to maneuver.
This is one of my husband’s favorite strollers, and we often wish it had been around when we had our first. It is perfect for the car-to-city lifestyle!
We love the all-weather reversible seat, easy fold, Pipa Ring Adapter, and large storage basket. The biggest change I would make would be for the seat to work from birth. Though you can purchase a bassinet, your baby may outgrow it quickly due to its size, which is unfortunate for the price.
Who is the Nuna TRIV Next Best For
It is best for families who live a car-to-city lifestyle and want a lightweight stroller for everyday use. It pairs perfectly with all Nuna Pipa car seats and will not take up a lot of space in your trunk.

Nuna SWIV
The Nuna SWIV is Nuna’s newest stroller. It has button-activated 360° swivel wheels on all four wheels, which allow for side-to-side motion, making navigating tight spaces and coffee shops a breeze. The stroller can hold 22 lbs in the basket, has all-weather seats, and is made with a carbon fiber frame (though it is a little heavy for being made with carbon fiber).
The SWIV includes more accessories than the other strollers in the Nuna Line, including a cup holder, rain cover, travel bag, and car seat adapter.
While it does have some similarities to the Triv Next, I have found the push is better on the Triv Next, while the basket capacity and latch on the fold are nice upgrades on the SWIV. Check out my comparison of the Nuna Triv Next to the Nuna SWIV!
Who the Nuna SWIV is Best For

Nuna TAVO Next

The Nuna TAVO Next is a more traditional travel system stroller. All PIPA car seats can easily click onto the built-in bumper bar. It has a newborn-ready seat recline, a large canopy, and a spacious storage basket. The push is also good, able to take on a variety of terrains. The biggest downside parents find is that it is not modular, meaning the seat cannot be parent-facing.
For the price, it is a great option for parents who want a Nuna stroller at a more affordable price point.
Who the Nuna TAVO is Best For
It is ideal for parents who want a more traditional travel system with more terrain capabilities than the TRVL LX or a Nuna full-feature stroller at a more affordable price point.

- Weight: 26.4 lbs
- Recommended Age: Birth with a lay-flat seat
- GreenGuard Gold: Yes

Nuna MIXX Next

The Nuna MIXX Next is one of Nuna’s most popular strollers. It is GreenGuard Gold, has a reversible seat that is ready from birth without any additional adapters, has a large canopy, and is nice to push. It also has the tallest handlebar on the market.
If you are a tall parent, this is one of the best strollers for you! A few of my Instagram followers (one works at Nordstrom and the other at Pottery Barn) have shared that this is their top recommendation for basketball players!
The fold is large, and some parents don’t love the seat size once their babies enter the toddler years, but that will be different for every family.
Who the Nuna MIXX Next is Best For:
Tall parents who are looking for a luxe stroller that can be used from birth, and handle a variety of terrains.

Nuna DEMI Next

The Nuna DEMI Next is a Single-to-Double stroller that is great for one baby, twins (both seats hold 50 lbs!), or even a bigger age gap with the included rider board. This stroller is big, but at the same time, it is very luxe. The rider board set up is amazing because a toddler can tuck right under the extendable handlebar which allows it to still be a nice push for the parent.
Out of all the Nuna strollers, my one-year-old baby looks most comfortable in the seat on the DEMI Next. My toddler loves the rider board, and I love how much protection the canopy provides on our walks. While the stroller is large to load in and out of my trunk, it has a great push and is loaded with upgraded features.
Who the Nuna DEMI Next is Best For
The DEMI Next is best for twin Parents or families with bigger age gaps and a toddler who still wants to ride occasionally. The seat is comfortable, the canopy is amazing, the basket is great, and the included rider board is a big selling point.
Buy the Nuna DEMI Next here on Nuna, Nordstrom, or Pottery Barn Kids.

Nuna TRVL Dubl
The TRVL Dubl entered the side-by-side scene with a bang, with the best double stroller fold on the market. Like the other Nuna strollers in the TRVL lineup, it has an amazing auto fold and easy compatibility with one Pipa car seat right on the bumper bar.
The Nuna TRVL Dubl is Disney-approved, holds 22 lbs in the basket, and has one of the best pushes in the lightweight side-by-side category. Some older toddlers won’t love how close the canopies come to their faces, and the price tag is on the higher side. I have received a lot of questions about the seats being different sizes, but with three kids of different ages, I have not found it to be an issue.
Who the Nuna TRVL Dubl is Best For
This stroller is best for families who want a lightweight double stroller that can handle a variety of terrains and seamlessly pairs with one PIPA infant car seat.
If you are going to be flying with this stroller, I recommend buying a travel bag after hearing a few stories from my followers about their bumper bars getting ruined after gate checking. I like that the Nuna Travel Bag includes an extended warranty, but this one also works well.
Buy the Nuna TRVL Dubl on Nuna, Nordstrom or Pottery Barn.

Nuna TRVL Dubl Pros:

- Canopies are not the best for the toddler years
- Only works with one infant car seat

Which Nuna Stroller is Best?
Every family has different needs, so what is best for me may be different for you.
A family I just helped was initially set on a Vista V3 or Fox 5, but after pushing the Nuna MIXX Next, they loved the tall handlebar and it became clear that was the best option for their family.
My husband prefers the TRIV Next, and my best friend loves the TRVL LX.
I hope this post helped you decide which Nuna stroller is best for your family! If it did, please consider shopping through my links! It helps me to be able to continue to make honest reviews like this one.
